Projects
I have worked on various projects in various ecosystems. Below are some of my favorite projects from throughout my career.
US GO - SHIP I09N
Chlorofluorocarbon Analyst
University of Miami
As part of the United States Global Ocean Ship-Based Hydrographic Investigations Program (US GO-SHIP), I analyzed water samples, collected at various depths, for Chlorofluorocarbon concentrations using a custom built purge & trap machine with an attached gas chromatograph.

Florida Ocean Time Series (FLOTSUM)
Instructor
University of Miami
I instructed first year college students with collecting water samples from a CTD, practiced various analyses including nutrients, oxygen, and looking a zooplankton, and deploying a NOAA Global Drifter (pictured right).

Freshwater Mussel Restoration
Research Assistant
The Academy of Natural Sciences of Drexel University
In the field, I measured the size of individual mussels and later calculated their growth rates since their deployment. In the lab, I assisted with in-vitro and in-vivo glochidia growth experiments.
